DescriptionThe NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) offers unique research opportunities for postdoctoral scientists. Fellowships span one to three years and support research at NASA centers, headquarters, or affiliated institutes. The current call invites proposals focused on planetary surfaces investigated via near‑infrared remote sensing or model‑based studies of impact cratering.
- Research topics: impact cratering, regolith development, comparative planetology.
- Current projects: analysis of lunar spectral data; lunar surface stratigraphy using high‑resolution images; crater ejecta and melt modeling; small‑body geology; geologic mapping; integration of infrared, optical, topographic, radar, and numerical data.
