This role is a remote contract position for individuals holding or pursuing a Master’s in Chemistry or related fields. Work on cutting‑edge projects with AI research labs while earning $35–$55 per hour with flexible weekly hours.
Base pay range: $35.00/hr – $55.00/hr location:
Remote. Commitment: 10–40 hours per week.
At Alignerr, we partner with leading AI research teams and labs to build and train advanced AI models. In this role you will help fine‑tune large language models using your chemistry expertise.
What You’ll Do- Design advanced chemistry problems to test AI performance (e.g., chemical engineering, biochemistry).
- Develop clear, step‑by‑step solutions with rigorous logic.
- Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and reasoning quality.
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level chemistry topics.
- Master’s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field (pursuing or completed).
- Strong chemistry reasoning and problem‑solving skills across advanced domains.
- Excellent written communication and ability to provide structured feedback.
- No AI experience required.
- Experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation systems.
