Job Description & How to Apply Below
Our work. Your job. Impact the world as LCA Data Specialist @ PRé.
Hi, we are PRé  Or PRé Sustainability as we are officially known. We help companies to realize their sustainability goals. Our approach is fact-based and complete, assessing the whole lifecycle of products or services of our customers using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) principle.
Our Sima Pro software has been the standard for experts in calculating LCA’s for decades and we are on the verge of introducing the next step: a platform which enables a broad group of sectors, companies, and audiences to learn about the facts of their sustainability, tailored for different user groups.
Your job as our LCA Data Specialist  In this pivotal role, you will contribute to bringing inventory data of various sources and in numerous impact assessment methods into one consistent Sima Pro database. You will take part in the development of Sima Pro’s new database management system, where data transformation from various sources to Sima Pro format occurs.
As part of your role, you will consider customer demands and engage with external database providers, impact assessment method developers, and internal experts to meet Sima Pro users’ needs in an accessible manner.
Maintain and expand our data offerings in PRé solutions by developing algorithms and code to implement LCI databases and impact assessment methods.
Active participation in the development of Sima Pro’s new data management system.
Ensure high-quality data supply through coordination with data and database providers and operators.
Work on the exchange of models between various software systems (interoperability), metadata, and nomenclature.
Collaborate in international forums to discuss life cycle data management needs such as the Global LCA Data network (GLAD).
What you will bring along  We need several years of relevant experience in data-driven positions, directly linked to sustainability and/or LCA, working with Python. In-depth knowledge and enough experience to think and act top-down are prerequisites, along with the communication skills to link experts to each other towards a common goal.
A fast-paced work environment where creativity and dedication are highly valued.
An inspiring and challenging international work atmosphere with an open and informal culture.
Competitive compensation, excellent personal development opportunities, on-the-job training, and great responsibilities.
Excellent remote working conditions and flexible hours to support your work-life balance.
Yearly training budget to support and empower your individual learning and development.
Public transport compensation and a bicycle plan.
