Physics Masters – AI Training Specialist
About
The Role
We're looking for physics experts to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. Your deep understanding of physical principles will directly shape how AI reasons through complex scientific problems — contributing to some of the most advanced AI research happening today.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for Masters-level physicists who want to apply their expertise in a high-impact, forward-looking way.

- Design advanced physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and more to rigorously test AI reasoning
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with logically sound and well-structured explanations
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, reasoning quality, and depth
- Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate through Masters-level physics topics
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
- Strong physics reasoning and problem-solving ability across advanced domains
- Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
- Detail-oriented with a structured, analytical approach to feedback
- No prior AI experience required — your physics expertise is what matters
- Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts
- Background in tutoring, academic writing, or scientific publishing
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside top research labs and AI teams
