Research Assistant; FTE

Introduction

We are looking for a research assistant for the project Verbs and Eyewitness Testimony: A Multilab Registered Replication Report
, funded by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO). The role involves writing and maintaining experimental software code, developing and refining experimental stimuli, running studies in the lab, assisting with data management, ensuring consistent implementation across labs, and supporting coordination of experimental procedures within the international collaboration.

• Strong interest in cognitive psychology and solid background in research methods
• Comfortable with experimental designs, core principles of data collection and analysis
• Proficient programming in R for data handling and analysis; familiarity with Qualtrics for designing online experiments
• Strong communication skills, dependable, accurate, able to coordinate with an international team
• Bilingual:
  Dutch (C1, for stimuli creation and participant communication) and English (C1, for collaboration communication)

• Position: 0.1 full‑time equivalent (FTE) – full‑time 38 hours, Scale 7 (CAO‑NU)
• Salary: €3,057 gross monthly (full‑time equivalence)
