This casual position focuses on supporting Dr. Lin Yang’s research program. You will work autonomously on writing grants, designing innovative research studies, and conducting peer-reviewed work. By engaging with a dedicated team of epidemiologists and statisticians, you will play a crucial role in implementing research findings and enhancing your expertise through ongoing training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in writing grant applications and research manuscripts
• Design research studies and develop data collection methods
• Perform comprehensive literature reviews as needed
• Prepare presentations for scientific conferences
• Summarize data analyses for scientific papers and presentations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences or related discipline
• Two or more years of research experience
• Proficient in statistical analysis of datasets
• Experience with literature reviews
• Available for work from home in Alberta
