You will lead crews to execute comprehensive archaeological fieldwork, leveraging your deep understanding of Heritage legislation. As a Supervising Archaeologist, you’ll ensure effective data management and reporting while promoting safety and teamwork on-site. You will play a vital role in driving project success through strong leadership and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage fieldwork and subsurface testing effectively
• Produce concise reports and contribute to data analysis
• Uphold equipment maintenance protocols and safety practices
• Engage in logistics and lead problem-solving initiatives
• Inspire team cooperation and excellence in field standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Archaeology or related discipline
• 1-2+ years of archaeological field experience
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License and First Aid certification
• Strong leadership and oral/written communication
• Capability to handle rugged terrains and long hours
