At the School for Advanced Digital Technology (SADT), SAIT is seeking a driven Student Research Assistant to assist with a global research project. You will collaborate with research participants, draft participant lists, and conduct interviews. This remote position requires occasional on-campus collaboration, providing a unique opportunity to build research skills and contribute meaningfully to local journalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft lists of potential interview participants for approval

• Contact research participants to schedule interviews

• Conduct interviews and gather valuable insights

• Maintain detailed records of interviews and participant consent

• Attend training sessions and project orientations

Requirements:

• Must be an active SAIT student during employment

• Ability to build effective working relationships

• Excellent interviewing and listening skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and videoconferencing tools

• Preference for candidates with related research experience
