Research Assistants are normally students, in a University of Winnipeg undergraduate program, employed to assist with tasks related to research. Work is performed within defined guidelines and under supervision of a more senior researcher or faculty member.
Position OverviewThis project will survey and interview Indigenous women and 2 spirited artisan entrepreneurs about their business development needs. RAs will be doing some background research, as well as connecting with interested participants to provide information about the research project and answer any questions. RAs will complete online TCPS2 training on the ethics of conducting Human research. RAs will conduct in person interviews and review/analyze questionnaire data.
Duties- Employee will review survey instrument and other materials for research.
- Perform academic research and writing.
- Review and revise literature review.
- Assist in data collection and analysis.
- Assist in preparing articles, publications and reports.
- Assist in seeking publication opportunities for research team.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
The period of work will be from
August 4, 2026 - September 15, 2026
