About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and insightful Market Research Analyst to join their fully remote team, supporting their FMCG business. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making for product development, marketing, and sales initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of research methodologies, data analysis tools, and the ability to translate complex findings into clear, concise recommendations.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels at working independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, driving business growth through data-driven intelligence.
- Design and execute market research studies, including surveys, focus groups, and competitive analysis.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using statistical software and research tools.
- Identify key market trends, consumer behaviors, and opportunities for FMCG brands.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing research findings and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and sales teams to leverage research insights.
- Monitor industry publications, competitor activities, and economic indicators relevant to the FMCG sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in market research , preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Proficiency in market research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to work effectively and manage projects independently in a remote environment.
