About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and analytical Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to enhance the effectiveness and impact of their charitable programs. This fully remote position is crucial for ensuring accountability, driving learning, and demonstrating the value of our client's work to stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust M&E frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, and translating findings into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) frameworks for various programs.
  • Develop data collection tools, methodologies, and protocols to ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Conduct data analysis using statistical software and interpret findings to assess program performance and impact.
  • Prepare high-quality M&E reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external audiences.
  • Provide technical support and training to program staff on M&E best practices.
  • Facilitate learning and adaptive management based on M&E findings.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist or similar role, preferably in the non-profit or charity sector.
  • Strong expertise in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methods.
  • Proficiency with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata) and M&E databases.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple M&E projects concurrently.
  • A relevant degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related quantitative field.
