Senior Biostatistician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biostatistician to join their research and development division in Mahikeng . This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds, with the flexibility of remote work complemented by collaborative in-office sessions. You will be responsible for designing clinical studies, analyzing complex biological and health data, and interpreting statistical findings to guide research directions and product development.

This position is critical for ensuring the rigor and validity of our client's scientific endeavors and requires a deep understanding of statistical methodologies applied to life sciences.

• Design and oversee statistical aspects of clinical trials and observational studies.
• Develop statistical analysis plans (SAPs) for research projects.
• Perform complex statistical analyses using appropriate software packages.
• Interpret and communicate statistical results to scientific and non-scientific audiences.
• Contribute to the development of research protocols and grant proposals.
• Ensure adherence to statistical best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in biostatistical analysis, preferably in pharmaceutical or biomedical research.
• Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, or SPSS.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial design, survival analysis, regression modeling, and other statistical techniques.
• Experience with data management and database technologies.
