About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Research Fellow to contribute to vital projects within their Environmental Science division based in Polokwane . This hybrid role allows for a balance of focused research work on-site and flexible remote collaboration. You will conduct advanced research, analyze environmental data, and contribute to scientific publications and reports that address critical environmental challenges. • Conduct rigorous scientific research in assigned areas of Environmental Science , including fieldwork and laboratory analysis.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret complex environmental data using statistical software and modeling techniques.
• Author and co-author research papers for publication in high-impact scientific journals.
• Present research findings at national and international conferences and seminars.
• Collaborate with senior researchers, faculty, and external partners on research projects and grant applications.

• A Master's or PhD degree in Environmental Science , Ecology, Biology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting scientific research, data analysis, and scientific writing.
• Proficiency with relevant research methodologies, data analysis software (e.g., R, SPSS), and GIS tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
