About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Computational Biologist with expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to join their fully remote research team. This role is crucial for developing and applying advanced computational models to analyze complex biological data, driving insights into disease mechanisms and therapeutic development. - Develop and implement novel AI/ML algorithms for the analysis of large-scale biological datasets, including genomics, proteomics, and clinical data.

- Collaborate virtually with experimental biologists, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate diverse data types and drive research projects forward.
- Build and maintain reproducible computational workflows and pipelines for AI/ML model development and deployment.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in computational biology, AI/ML, and their applications in life sciences.
- Communicate research findings and model performance clearly through presentations, reports, and publications to a remote team.
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in computational biology or bioinformatics, with a strong focus on applying AI/ML techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and extensive experience with AI/ML libraries (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Solid understanding of biological data types and relevant analytical methods.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
