Position: Bioinformatics Scientist (Remote)

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Computational Biology Expert to work on a Full-Time basis. The role involves developing and implementing computational models to analyze biological data and support research initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions that drive scientific discovery and innovation in [specific industry].

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize computational models for biological data analysis, including genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics datasets.
Design and implement algorithms to process large-scale biological datasets with a focus on accuracy and scalability.
Collaborate with research teams to translate biological questions into computational frameworks and analytical pipelines.
Validate and refine models using experimental data to ensure biological relevance and predictive power.
Document methodologies, results, and findings in technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

PhD or Master’s degree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB for data analysis and modeling.
Experience with biological databases, tools, and software including BLAST, Bioconductor, or similar platforms.
Strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and algorithm development for biological applications.
Familiarity with high-performance computing and cloud-based platforms for large-scale data processing.
