Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Computational Biologist to join their globally distributed research team. This role is pivotal in driving insights from complex biological datasets, particularly in the realm of genomics and transcriptomics, to accelerate scientific discovery. Operating in a remote-first environment, you will collaborate closely with bench scientists, bioinformaticians, and data scientists to develop analytical strategies and translate findings into actionable knowledge.

• Develop and implement advanced computational and statistical methods for analyzing large-scale biological datasets, including genomic , transcriptomic, and proteomic data.
• Design and execute bioinformatics pipelines for data processing, quality control, and interpretation.
• Collaborate with experimental biologists to define research questions and design appropriate analyses.
• Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns and generate hypotheses.
• Contribute to the development of visualization tools and dashboards for data exploration.
• Document methodologies, code, and results thoroughly, and present findings to diverse audiences.

• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience applying computational approaches to biological research problems.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics, such as Python and R.
• Extensive experience with various bioinformatics tools, databases, and algorithm development.
• Solid understanding of biological principles and experimental workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a remote , collaborative setting.
