Computational Biologist - Drug Discovery

• Develop and apply computational and statistical methods to analyze large-scale biological datasets, including genomics, proteomics, and transcriptomics.
• Design and implement computational models for target identification, validation, and lead optimization in drug discovery programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse data types and extract actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain robust analysis pipelines and software tools for internal research use.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in computational biology, cheminformatics, and drug discovery technologies.
• Present findings and strategies to project teams and senior management in a clear and concise manner.

• Master's or PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in computational biology or a related role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl, and experience with bioinformatics databases and tools.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
• Experience with large-scale data analysis, including genomics, transcriptomics, and/or proteomics data.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
