- Conduct in-depth research on soil properties, nutrient cycling, and degradation processes.
- Develop and implement soil management strategies to enhance fertility, crop yield, and water retention.
- Analyze soil samples using advanced laboratory techniques and interpret the results for agricultural applications.
- Advise on soil conservation measures and remediation strategies for degraded land.
- Contribute to the development of new soil testing methodologies and interpretation guidelines.
- Publish research findings in scientific journals and present at international conferences (virtually or in-person).
- Ph.D. in Soil Science, Agronomy, or a closely related field.
- 10+ years of experience in soil science research and application, with a strong publication record.
- Expertise in soil chemistry, physics, biology, and fertility management.
- Proficiency in laboratory analysis techniques and data interpretation.
- Experience with GIS and other spatial analysis tools for soil mapping.
- Excellent scientific writing and communication skills, with the ability to lead research projects remotely.
