Senior Research Scientist - Neuroscience

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Research Scientist with a specialization in Neuroscience to join their fully remote research division. This role is instrumental in advancing our understanding of neurological disorders and developing innovative therapeutic solutions. You will be responsible for designing and executing cutting-edge research, analyzing complex datasets related to neurobiology, and contributing significantly to the strategic direction of our neuroscience pipeline.

• Design and implement advanced in vitro and in vivo studies focused on neurodegenerative diseases, neuroinflammation, or neurodevelopmental disorders.

• Analyze and interpret complex neuroscience data, drawing conclusions and formulating hypotheses for further investigation.
• Collaborate closely with computational biologists, medicinal chemists, and pharmacologists in a virtual environment to integrate findings.
• Prepare detailed scientific reports, contribute to manuscript preparation for peer-reviewed publications, and support patent applications.
• Provide scientific mentorship and guidance to junior team members in a remote setting.

• PhD in Neuroscience, Neurobiology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant post-doctoral or industry research experience in neuroscience.
• Proven expertise in experimental design and execution relevant to neurological research, with hands-on experience in specific neuroscience techniques.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with statistical analysis of complex biological data.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple research projects concurrently in a remote setting .
