Computational Biologist - Structural Analysis

• Develop and apply computational methods for analyzing and modeling protein structures and dynamics.
• Perform molecular dynamics simulations, docking studies, and other in silico experiments to understand molecular interactions.
• Analyze and interpret structural data to identify potential drug targets and guide lead optimization.
• Collaborate with experimental biologists and medicinal chemists to integrate structural insights into drug discovery programs.
• Develop custom software tools and scripts to automate analysis and visualize structural data.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in computational biology, structural biology, and drug design software and methodologies.

• Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in structural bioinformatics, molecular modeling, and simulation techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++, and experience with relevant bioinformatics software packages (e.g., GROMACS, AMBER, Schrödinger suite).
• Solid understanding of protein structure, function, and interaction networks.
• Experience with analyzing large-scale structural datasets and utilizing high-performance computing resources.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
