Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Research Scientist specializing in Bioinformatics to join their innovative R&D team. • Develop and implement advanced bioinformatics algorithms and pipelines for the analysis of genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data.
• Design and execute computational experiments to investigate biological mechanisms and identify potential drug targets.
• Collaborate with wet-lab scientists and other researchers to interpret experimental results and guide future research directions.
• Manage and curate large biological datasets, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for research purposes.
• Present findings at scientific conferences and publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the overall scientific strategy of the department.

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in bioinformatics research.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and Perl, along with experience in shell scripting.
• Extensive experience with common bioinformatics tools, databases, and public repositories.
• Demonstrated experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques.
