- Design and synthesize novel polymers with specific properties tailored to target applications.
- Characterize synthesized polymers using techniques such as GPC, NMR, DSC, TGA, and mechanical testing.
- Investigate structure-property relationships to optimize material performance and discover new applications.
- Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product developers, to translate research findings into viable products.
- Conduct literature surveys and stay updated on the latest advancements in polymer science and related fields.
- Prepare detailed research reports, patent applications, and technical publications.
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of research experience in polymer synthesis, characterization, and processing.
- Strong understanding of polymerization mechanisms, polymer physics, and rheology.
- Proficiency with polymer characterization techniques such as GPC , NMR, and thermal analysis.
- Experience with computational modeling of polymers is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for remote collaboration and reporting.
