Remote Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist to join their dedicated team. This fully remote position is crucial for ensuring the effectiveness and impact of our programs by designing, implementing, and managing robust M&E frameworks. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and report on outcomes to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is adept at using data to drive strategic decisions and possesses strong skills in research methodologies and data visualization.
- Develop and refine comprehensive M&E plans, including indicators, data collection tools, and reporting formats for various programs.
- Oversee the systematic collection, entry, and quality assurance of program data, utilizing digital platforms and remote collaboration.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to assess program progress, impact, and effectiveness against stated objectives.
- Prepare clear, concise, and visually engaging M&E reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and capacity building to program teams on M&E best practices and data utilization.
- Contribute to the design of new programs by ensuring M&E considerations are integrated from the outset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation , preferably in the development or non-profit sector, with experience working remotely.
- Strong understanding of M&E principles, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., logframes, Theory of Change).
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent research, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Experience in designing data collection tools (surveys, interview guides) and managing databases.
- Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related quantitative field.
