UX Researcher - User Insights & Strategy

Our client is seeking a meticulous and insightful UX Researcher to join their team in Paarl. This hybrid role is crucial for understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform product development and design decisions. You will conduct a variety of research studies, analyze findings, and translate them into actionable recommendations that shape intuitive and effective user experiences. Design and execute a range of qualitative and quantitative user research methodologies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiries. Analyze research data to identify key user insights, pain points, and opportunities for improvement. Develop detailed research reports, personas, journey maps, and present findings and recommendations to product and design teams. Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to ensure user insights are integrated throughout the product development lifecycle.

Advocate for the user, ensuring their needs are at the forefront of product strategy and design decisions.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in UX Research or a related field (e.g., Human Factors, Market Research).
• Demonstrated experience planning, conducting, and analyzing various user research studies.
• Proficiency with user research tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex findings clearly.
• Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.
