Research Associate - Bioinformatics

Our client is looking for a skilled Research Associate with a specialization in Bioinformatics to join their innovative, fully remote scientific team. • Process, analyze, and interpret large-scale biological datasets, including next-generation sequencing (NGS) and mass spectrometry data.

• Identify, evaluate, and integrate novel bioinformatics tools and databases to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and analysis pipelines.

• Master's or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience in analyzing high-throughput biological data, such as genomics, transcriptomics, or proteomics.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or R, and experience with relevant bioinformatics libraries and packages.
• Familiarity with statistical methods and machine learning techniques applicable to biological data.
• Experience with command-line interfaces and working in a Linux/Unix environment.
