Our client is seeking an empathetic and insightful Remote UX Researcher to join their product development team. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to deeply understand user needs and behaviours, translating those insights into actionable recommendations that shape product strategy and design. You will be instrumental in planning, conducting, and analyzing user research studies for web and mobile applications. This position requires a rigorous approach to research methodologies and the ability to effectively communicate findings to cross-functional teams, ensuring our client builds products that are not only functional but also truly user-centered and delightful to use.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute a variety of user research studies, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiries.
- Identify target users and recruit participants for research studies.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to identify user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and clear, compelling reports and presentations.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user insights into the product development process.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure that user needs are prioritized throughout the product lifecycle.
- Proven experience as a UX Researcher or in a similar research-focused role, with a portfolio showcasing your research projects and methodologies.
- Proficiency in various qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the product development lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating remotely.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field.
