Bovitz was founded as a custom research agency in 2003, grounded in academic rigor & deep client-side experience. We now have a multi-disciplinary team of 35 full-time employees, including leaders in Market Research, Anthropology, Brand Strategy, Cognitive Science, Business Consulting, and Design. The Role The Research Analyst will work within a team to provide quality marketing research to Fortune 500 clients in various industries including Consumer Packaged Goods, Apparel, Beauty, Omnichannel Retail, Digital Media and Emerging Technology.

Things You’ll DoOversee day-to-day quantitative and qualitative research operations from kickoff through delivery

Manage project timelines, milestones, and vendor/partner coordination to ensure successful execution

Participate in research design including writing and/or co-writing questionnaires, discussion guides, screeners, and research materials

Assist with analysis planning, including defining cuts, tab plans, KPIs, and coding approaches

Manage qualitative recruiting processes, including screening, scheduling, communication, and incentives

Coordinate and engage in online research communities, discussion boards, and digital ethnography platforms

Oversee the quality assurance process for survey programming, logic, links, and respondent experience

Review data tabulations and deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with research objectives

Partner with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot sampling, programming, or data issues

Watch video content (e.g., interviews, focus groups, user sessions) to extract key themes, quotes, and stories

Summarize qualitative findings into clear themes that reflect participant sentiment and behaviors

Support quantitative analysis in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, Q, R, Tableau (or similar)
Create reports and delivering synthesized insights through clean, compelling charts, visuals, and written narratives

Education and Experience Requirements Four-year college degree in related major (business, sociology, psychology, political science, econ, math, statistics, etc.) preferred1-2 years of supplier side marketing research experience

Knowledge and understanding of all stages of the qualitative and quantitative research process, methods, and analysis

Ability to work cross-functionally and build effective relationships with teams

Ability to take on ownership and accountability over day-to-day projects tasks

Strong organizational and time management/prioritization skills

Ability to multi-task while maintaining strong attention to detail

Ability to work in creative and analytical environments

Clear, concise communication skills, in both written and oral form Genuine interest in understanding consumer behavior and using research data to tell a compelling story
