AI Research Scientist - Reinforcement Learning

Our client is looking for a brilliant AI Research Scientist specializing in Reinforcement Learning (RL) to join their innovative research division, working remotely. This role is at the cutting edge of AI & Emerging Technologies , focused on advancing the frontiers of autonomous decision-making and control systems. You will conduct foundational and applied research to develop novel RL algorithms and apply them to solve complex, real-world problems.

• Conduct cutting-edge research in reinforcement learning, developing new algorithms and theoretical frameworks.

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
• A strong publication record in top-tier AI/ML conferences and journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI).
• Deep theoretical understanding and practical experience in reinforcement learning algorithms (e.g., Q-learning, Policy Gradients, Actor-Critic methods).
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow or PyTorch.
• Experience with simulation environments or applying RL to complex control problems is highly desirable.
