Computational Biology & Bioinformatics Expert (PhD)
Job Type: Contractor
Location: Remote - Worldwide
We are seeking experienced computational biology and bioinformatics experts to support an AI training project focused on biological data analysis, scientific workflows, and model evaluation. Candidates will contribute domain expertise to improve AI accuracy and scientific reasoning.
Required Skills- Computational Biology and Bioinformatics
- Genomics, Transcriptomics, and Proteomics
- Python and/or R Programming
- NGS, RNA-seq, and Variant Analysis
- BLAST, GATK, Samtools, and Biopython
- Nextflow, Snakemake, and Linux
- Statistical Analysis and Scientific Problem-Solving
- Technical Documentation and Communication
- Design and evaluate bioinformatics workflows.
- Analyze genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic datasets.
- Optimize pipeline configurations and statistical methods.
- Support AI model benchmarking and validation.
- Develop reproducible scientific workflows.
- Document findings and communicate technical insights.
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field, or equivalent industry/research experience.
- Hands-on experience with biological data analysis.
- Strong Python/R programming and statistical reasoning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Experience with AI/ML-assisted biology, structural biology, or drug discovery is preferred.
