Apply climate modeling expertise remotely as an hourly Climate Data Specialist supporting AI training through rigorous scientific problem design. Flexible contracts accommodate 10–40 hours weekly.
Alignerr seeks Masters and PhD-level environmental science researchers for this fully remote contract role. You will work across climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or related fields. Python or R proficiency and precise scientific communication support the work.
Key Responsibilities:- Design advanced environmental science problems with real-world relevance
- Solve and review scientifically rigorous problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated reasoning for accuracy and clarity
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts
- Maintain scientific integrity across all deliverables
- Masters or PhD in environmental or related science
- Deep expertise in climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or earth systems
- Proficiency in Python or R for research or data analysis
- Exceptionally strong written scientific communication
- Fluent English and self-directed working style
