- Own plume-scale modeling and large-eddy simulations from release through dispersion.
- Lead plume forecasting for tracer campaigns over 24- to 72-hour horizons.
- Serve as mission scientist for potential field studies.
Who you are:
- PhD in atmospheric science, fluid dynamics, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on forecasting or mission-science experience on airborne or balloon campaigns.
- Comfortable in Python and Fortran on HPC systems with excellent communication skills.
Compensation and benefits:
- Annual salary between $130,000 and $160,000 USD.
- Flexible hours and generous paid time off.
