This position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute your expertise from your preferred location while being an integral part of our innovative product development team. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, formulating, and bringing to market a new range of premium organic skincare products.

• Develop innovative and effective organic skincare formulations using natural and plant-derived ingredients.
• Source and evaluate high-quality organic raw materials, ensuring compliance with relevant certifications (e.g., COSMOS, ECOCERT).
• Conduct extensive research into natural actives, botanical extracts, and sustainable ingredient alternatives.
• Formulate a variety of skincare products, including serums, moisturizers, cleansers, masks, and balms, ensuring stability and efficacy.
• Perform benchtop testing, stability studies, and preliminary efficacy assessments for new formulations.
• Collaborate with the marketing and branding teams to align product development with brand vision and consumer needs.
• Ensure all formulations meet strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards for organic products.
• Work closely with manufacturing partners to scale up formulations from lab to production.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including ingredient lists, manufacturing procedures, and quality control parameters.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, scientific research, and consumer preferences in the organic and natural skincare market.
• Contribute to the company's commitment to sustainability throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication within a remote team environment, utilizing project management tools effectively.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field with a focus on natural products.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in skincare formulation, with a significant portion dedicated to organic and natural product development.
• Proven expertise in working with botanical extracts, essential oils, and other natural ingredients.
• Knowledge of organic certification standards and requirements.
• Experience with stability testing and an understanding of preservative systems for natural formulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous approach to formulation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
