Job description applies to selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders, ensuring freshness and quality, assembling orders, processing coupons and payments, and delivering and loading orders to customers' cars for pickup. • Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper selects and gathers products for customers  online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for customers  online orders.
• Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles customers  online orders, processes coupons and payments, and delivers and loads orders to cars when customers arrive for pick up.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper scans and bags orders on the go while following bagging standards.
• E-Commerce team (Online Grocery Pick-Up) communicates substitutions or exceptions to customers  orders at pickup time.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customers  orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Read and follow directions provided in notes.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen.
• Communicate with customers via portable phone and respond professionally and promptly.
• Retrieve each customer s order from staging locations, ensure order accuracy, and load order into customers  cars.
• Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages online shopping returns.
• Process orders through the POS system.
• Follow policies to determine appropriate substitutions in the event of an out-of-stock item.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies and invalid temperature types to the store e-Commerce supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of items needing repair.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Any experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier
