Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk at Fred Meyer

Job Responsibilities- Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality.
- Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to customers’ cars when they arrive at the store for pick up.
- Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping.
- Demonstrate Fred Meyer’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
- Receive customers’ orders from Order Selector, store product in optimal temperature zones, scan and bag orders, and maintain equipment.
- Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at time of pick up and handle calls via portable phone.
- Process orders through the point of sale (POS) system and follow all bagging and substitution policies.
- Assist in training new e-Commerce team members, perform opening and closing procedures, maintain staging area cleanliness, and report discrepancies.
- Meet or exceed productivity standards; manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner; act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Ability to read shelf tags.
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience as a personal shopper, in a production or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier.
