Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk role at Kroger
. This position involves selecting and gathering products for customers’ online orders with attention to freshness and quality, assembling orders, processing coupons and payment, and delivering and loading orders to customers’ cars  will provide a positive customer service experience and uphold the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Select and gather products for customers’ online orders efficiently, with attention to freshness and quality.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for customers’ online orders.
• Assemble online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to customers’ cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders on the go while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customers’ orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Read and follow directions in the note section.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items.
• Communicate with customers via portable phone and respond in a professional and timely manner.
• Retrieve each customer’s order from staging locations and ensure order accuracy; load the order into the customer’s car.
• Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages customers to return to online shopping.
• Process orders through the POS system.
• Follow policies to determine appropriate substitutions in the event of an out-of-stock item.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, item location discrepancies, and invalid temperature types to the store e-Commerce supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of items in need of repair.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, non-confrontational and cooperative manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral/written communication skills

• Any experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier
