Overview

Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk role at Kroger Mountain View Foods. Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pick up. Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to online shopping.

• Essential Job Functions:
  
  Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper responsibilities include selecting and gathering products for customersonline orders efficiently with attention to freshness and quality.
• Initiate and complete selection process for customersonline orders.
• Assemble online orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders to customerscars for pickup.
• Scan and bag orders on the go while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup time.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders from Order Selector, store products in optimal temperature zones, and ensure order accuracy before pickup.
• Read and follow directions in notes; respond to customer calls professionally and timely.
• Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages online shopping.
• Process orders through the POS system; handle substitutions for out-of-stock items per policy.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment; inspect equipment and report repairs.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members; meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment; manage conflicts constructively.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues as needed.
• Support and assist through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (e.g., counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier
