Role involves selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive for pick up. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages online shopping and reflect the company's values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper selects and gathers products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes selection process for customers' online orders.
• Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles orders, processes coupons and payments, and delivers and loads orders to cars at pickup.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper scans and bags orders on the go following bagging standards.
• E-Commerce team communicates substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at pickup.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customers' orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Read and follow directions provided in the notes.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items.
• Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond professionally and timely.
• Retrieve each customer's order from staging locations and ensure accuracy, then load the order into the customer's car.
• Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage repeat online shopping.
• Process orders through the POS system.
• Follow policies and procedures to determine appropriate substitutions when items are out of stock.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies and temperature-type issues to the e-Commerce supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and report items in need of repair to management.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures; assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet/exceed productivity standards and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cooperatively, manage conflict professionally, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues as needed.
• Provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience:

• Any experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier
