Overview

Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk role at Kroger Mountain View Foods. The position involves selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality, assembling orders, processing coupons and payments, and delivering/loading orders to customers' cars vide a positive customer service experience and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Essential functions include selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders efficiently with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for customers' online orders.
• Assemble online orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders to cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders from Order Selector, store products in optimal temperature zones, and read and follow directions in notes.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items; communicate with customers professionally via a portable phone.
• Retrieve each customers order from staging locations, ensure accuracy, and load into customers' cars.
• Process orders through the POS system; follow procedures for substitutions when items are out of stock.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies to the e-Commerce supervisor; inspect equipment and notify management of repairs.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures and assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards; work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment; manage conflict constructively.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information; follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to work without supervision

• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier
