Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk role at Kroger Mountain View Foods.

• Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality.
• Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pick up.
• Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to online shopping.
• Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for customers' online orders; communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup time.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customers' orders from Order Selector, store products in optimal temperature zones, and read and follow directions in the notes.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items; communicate with customers via portable phone in a professional and timely manner.
• Retrieve each customer’s order from staging locations, verify order accuracy, and load orders into customers’ cars.
• Process orders through the POS system and follow substitutions procedures for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment; report discrepancies and equipment issues to management.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members; meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment; manage conflict professionally; follow directions and seek assistance as needed.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as required.
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral/written communication skills

• Any experience as a personal shopper or in a production oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier
