Overview

Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper:
Select and gather products for customers' on-line orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive for pick up. Provide a positive customer service experience and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Essential Job Functions:
  
  Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper is responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers  on-line orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for customers  on-line orders.
• Assemble customers  on-line orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars at pick-up.
• Scan and bag orders following bagging standards; communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customers  orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Communicate with customers via portable phone and respond professionally and timely.
• Ensure order accuracy and load orders into customers  cars; provide positive customer service to encourage on-line shopping.
• Process orders through the POS system; follow policies for substitutions when out-of-stock.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment; report discrepancies and items needing repair.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures; assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet/exceed productivity standards; work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment; manage conflicts constructively.

• Minimum Position Qualifications:
  
  Ability to work without supervision; ability to read shelf tags; basic math skills; excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Desired Previous
  
  Experience:
  
  Experience as a personal shopper or in a production/warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier.
