Job Description:

Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pick up. Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper selects and gathers products for customers' online orders with emphasis on freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for online orders.
• Assembles online orders, processes coupons and payment, and delivers and loads orders to cars at pick up.
• Scans and bags orders on the go while following bagging standards.
• Communicates substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup time.
• Meets or exceeds customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adheres to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receives orders from Order Selector, stores products in optimal temperature zones, and reads directions in notes.
• Ensures quality and freshness of all items; communicates with customers via portable phone in a professional and timely manner.
• Retrieves each customer's order from staging locations, ensures order accuracy, and loads order into customers' cars.
• Provides a positive customer service experience to encourage online shopping.
• Processes orders through the POS system; follows substitutions policies for out-of-stock items.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Reports pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies to the e-Commerce supervisor; inspects equipment and notifies management of repairs.
• Performs required opening and closing procedures; assists in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meets or exceeds productivity standards; works cooperatively in a high-paced or stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information. Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Minimum Position Qualifications:
  
  Ability to work without supervision; ability to read shelf tags; basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction); excellent oral/written communication skills.

  Any experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier.
