Responsibilities- Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality.
- Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pick up.
- Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to online shopping.
- Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
- Initiate and complete the selection process for customers' online orders as part of the In-Store Grocery Shopper team.
- Scan and bag orders, following bagging standards.
- Communicate substitutions or order exceptions to customers at pick-up time.
- Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
- Receive customers' orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
- Read and follow directions in the note section; ensure quality and freshness of all items.
- Communicate with customers via portable phone in a professional and timely manner.
- Retrieve each customer's order from staging locations, ensure order accuracy, and load the order into the customer's car.
- Process orders through the POS system.
- Follow policies for substitutions in the event of an out-of-stock item.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
- Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies to the e-Commerce supervisor.
- Inspect equipment and notify management of items in need of repair.
- Perform required opening and closing procedures.
- Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
- Meet or exceed productivity standards; work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle conflicts professionally and with integrity.
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues.
- Provide support and assistance to diverse customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Ability to work without supervision
- Ability to read shelf tags
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desired Previous Experience:
- Any experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier
