Job Description:

Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pick up. Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Essential Job Functions:
  
  select and gather products for customers' online orders with emphasis on freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for customers' online orders.
• Assemble online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars at pick up.
• Scan and bag orders following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at pickup.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders from Order Selector, store products in optimal temperature zones, and follow directions in notes.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items; respond to customer calls professionally and promptly.
• Load orders into customers' cars and maintain organization of staging areas and equipment.
• Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage repeat online shopping.
• Process orders through the POS system and follow procedures for substitutions when items are out of stock.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members and meet/exceed productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced or stressful environment and manage conflict professionally.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues; protect customer and business information with honesty and integrity.
• Provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral/written communication skills

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier
