Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pickup. Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to online shopping. • Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for customers' online orders.
• Assemble online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customer orders from the order selector, store products in optimal temperature zones, and ensure order accuracy.
• Follow directions and respond professionally and timely to customer inquiries.
• Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage online shopping.
• Process orders through the point-of-sale (POS) system and determine substitutions for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment; inspect equipment and report issues.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members and meet productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, and sometimes stressful, environment; manage conflicts constructively.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience:

• Any experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier
