As an In-Store Grocery Shopper, you will select and gather products for customers' on-line orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. You will assemble customers' on-line orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at store for pick up. You will provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to on-line shopping.

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper is responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' on-line orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for customers' on-line orders.
• Assemble on-line orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive for pick up.
• Scan and bag orders on the go while following all bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at pick-up.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customer orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Read and follow directions in the note section and ensure item quality and freshness.
• Communicate with customers via portable phone and respond in a professional, timely manner.
• Retrieve each customer's order from staging locations, verify accuracy, and load the order into the customer's car.
• Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat on-line shopping.
• Process the orders through the point of sale (POS) system.
• Follow policies to determine appropriate substitutions for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item-location discrepancies to the store e-Commerce supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of items in need of repair.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience:

• Any experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier
