Job Description:

The Opportunity:

Responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates process efficiently and effectively, and working as a team. Ensures an excellent customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store. Role models exceptional customer service.

Creates a positive internal and external customer experience

Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality

Coordinates truck deliveries, prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor

Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles

Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded

Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure smooth flow of goods to the sales floor

Ensures tasks are completed according to store plans; prioritizes as needed

Monitors team productivity and coaches as necessary

Organizes and rotates back stock for easy replenishment

Upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards

Maintains cleanliness and organization standards in the backroom

Ensures compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs, where applicable

Communicates effectively with management and Associates on priorities and progress

Provides and receives recognition and constructive feedback

Partners with Management on training needs to improve effectiveness

Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures

Promotes credit and loyalty programs

Supports store shrink reduction initiatives

Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment

Performs other duties as assigned

Who We’re Looking For:
You.

Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends
Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to multitask effectively
Responsive to changes and unexpected situations
Team player, effective with peers and supervisors
Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation
Ability to train others
Minimum 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
