Online Grocery Pick‑Up Clerk – Smith’s Food & Drug Centers (Salt Lake City, Utah)
Join us in ensuring customers receive their online orders with freshness, quality, and a positive customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Select and gather products for customers’ online orders efficiently and with attention to freshness and quality.
- Assemble customers’ orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers’ cars when they arrive for pick‑up.
- Communicate substitutions or exceptions to orders at pick‑up and maintain accurate order records in the POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food‑safety procedures and company guidelines while maintaining a clean, organized staging area.
- Respond to customer calls via a portable phone in a professional manner and provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
- Assist in training new e‑commerce team members and perform opening and closing procedures as required.
- Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies and notify supervisors of needed repairs.
- Maintain productivity standards and work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information, following directions and seeking assistance as needed.
- Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation and act cooperatively in conflict situations.
