- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience as a personal shopper, warehouse worker, stocking shelves, or cashier
- Select and gather products for customers' online orders, focusing on freshness and quality
- Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders
- Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars at pick‑up
- Scan and bag orders on the go while following bagging standards
- Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick‑up
- Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness
- Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines
- Receive orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones
- Read and follow directions in order notes
- Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen
- Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond promptly
- Retrieve each customer's order from all staging locations, verify accuracy, and load into vehicles
- Process the orders through the POS system
- Determine appropriate substitutions when items are out of stock
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment
- Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies and invalid temperature types to the e‑Commerce supervisor
- Inspect equipment and notify the Pick‑Up supervisor of items needing repair
- Perform required opening and closing procedures
- Assist in training new e‑Commerce team members
- Meet or exceed productivity standards
- Work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment
- Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues
- Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
