Minimum Position Qualifications
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Ability to read shelf tags.
  • Basic math skills (e.g., counting, addition, and subtraction).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desired Previous Experience
  • Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier.
Essential Job Functions
  • Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, with attention to freshness and quality.
  • Initiate and complete the selection process for customers' online orders.
  • Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders into cars when customers arrive for pick up.
  • Scan and bag orders on the go while following all bagging standards.
  • Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers at the time of pick-up.
  • Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
  • Receive customers' orders from Order Selector, store products in optimal temperature zones, and read and follow directions given in the note section.
  • Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen.
  • Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond to calls professionally and promptly.
  • Retrieve each customer’s order from all staging locations, ensure order accuracy, and load the order into customers’ cars.
  • Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping.
  • Process the orders through the point of sale (POS) system.
  • Follow policies and procedures to determine appropriate substitutions when items are out of stock.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
  • Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies, and invalid temperature types to the store e‑Commerce supervisor.
  • Inspect equipment and notify store Pick‑Up supervisor or other store management of items needing repair.
  • Perform required opening and closing procedures.
  • Assist in training new e‑Commerce team members.
  • Meet or exceed productivity standards.
  • Work cooperatively in a high‑paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner.
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
  • Provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
