Position: Little Burgundy Store Manager
Location: MontrealESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performanceRecruit, interview, and hire high-caliber employees with in-store needsTrain and develop a successful sales teamProvide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing all company policies and practicesEnsure that all company initiatives are properly implemented and to the standard of the company directionCommunicate stock replenishment needs to District Sales Manager, Distribution, and Buying and Merchandising departmentsConduct monthly performance reviewsRecognize talented staff and develop them for growth within the companySupervise and manage all aspects of daily store operationsSupervise and manage all aspects of Loss Prevention practicesPlan weekly staffing schedules in compliance with schedules policyProvide a fun, full service experience to all customersResolve customer issues effectivelyComplete bank depositsUnderstand the Little Burgundy culture and demonstrate it to the teamJOB REQUIREMENTS
Prior retail management experience preferred1–2 years retail sales experienceExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsDesire to succeed in fast-paced retail environmentBilingualism as required (Quebec only) **Willingness to learnCompletion of all training programs leading up to Manager in Training position or equivalent trainingAbility to work 40 hours per weekAbility to work night and weekend shiftsAbility to climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 poundsStand for long periods of timeMust be at least 18 years of age** Age requirements for part-time employment may vary based on territory or province
** General knowledge of English is required to be able to effectively communicate to all customers, including English-speaking tourists, and to home office personnel in Nashville.
